CaseBilkent is one of the most prestigious case analysis competitions as its structure and prestigious awards, organized by Operational Research Club. The aim of this to encourage the participation of students across the university, identify areas in need of improvement within Bilkent University, and develop feasible solutions for these areas. Through systematic collaboration involving students, school administration and academics, the aim is to generate feasible solutions and activate students’ ideas. Ultimately, the initiative seeks to contribute Bilkent University by presenting and implementing practical projects for the university.
The CaseBilkent process begins with conducting surveys among students at the beginning of the academic calendar. The results of these surveys are consistently shared with the university administration. Based on these outcomes, a common issue will be identified, and our club members, along with university academicians, convert this problem into a case.
Subsequently, the case is assigned to participant groups, each comprising three individuals. A pre-selection process, determined by the participants’ CVs, is implemented, and the selected teams proceed to address the assigned problem. Upon completion of the designated period, the participant groups present their solutions on the final day which is the 15th of February.
